Meet Ellen Kurtz, Founder
Ellen Kurtz, RN, BSN, MBA, CLNC is a nursing professional who has worked in the fields of clinical, educational, administrative and legal domains of nursing for 35 years. She has expertise in evaluating for standard of care both in her clinical and legal consulting roles.
Ms. Kurtz established Kurtz Legal Nurse Consulting, LLC after nearly 20 years in the legal nurse consulting field working with plaintiff and defense counsel.
As a professional educator, with advanced degrees in Education, Nursing and Business, Ms. Kurtz is a highly successful facilitator for attorney-client discussions which can include medical and forensic experts, patients or their families and litigation documentation. Her experience in public speaking and writing as a teacher makes Kurtz Legal Nurse Consulting unique in providing a full service for attorney-clients.
Ms. Kurtz’s clinical expertise in the acute, sub-acute, nursing home and home care settings includes:
- Medical, Cardiac and Surgical Critical Care
- Geriatric care assessment, planning and delivery of direct care
